Yes, that's cotton stuffing all over the kitchen floor. Mind you, this is not the first bed Cairo has destroyed. Just two days ago she tore apart a bed identical to this one.
Cairo has decided that she no longer wants a bed to lounge on all day. Now she can sleep on the wood floor.

What's next? the couch?
Our very first white boxer, Dinsdale, once ate a sleeping bag. Hubby and I were going over all of our camping gear, and left one of the older sleeping bags out while we decided whether or not to keep it. Well - Dinsdale made the decision for us. Unfortunately, it also required a rather expensive trip to the vet, as the inside was cotton, and Dinsdale actually ate it. Evidently he liked it, because over the next six years, Dinsdale consumed 3 quilts, 2 dog beds and one Christmas tree. Despite all this, we adored him - he was the best dog ever. He just liked eating poofy things – though we still haven’t figured the tree thing out.
Prissy likes to eat socks. She has slowed down on the shoes, but I'd hate to estimate the value of those she destroyed during her first year with us.
Prissy's sock habit has led to one trip to the emergency vet and several episodes of what we so delicately refer to as "butt surgery" to remove them. Yuk! At least Cairo doesn't eat the stuffing.

Cairo LOVES eating my socks. I bought a new pack two months ago and she's destroyed all of them. They were Costco socks, so at least they weren't expensive.
What a PUNIM! Truly one of the cutest boxers I've seen.
Well at least it was her bed and not your nice leather chair.
