My parents are back from vacation. They spent ten days in Argentina. They visited glaciers in the Southern Andes/Patagonia, toured the capital city of Buenos Aires and spent a day in Uruguay. They showed me all of their pictures.
Here are some cute Argentinian perros that they encountered:
This is Felipe. My parents met him and his owner near the cemetary where Evita Peron is buried in Buenos Aires.
Most portenos (residents of Buenos Aires) live in apartments. Thus, their perros (dogs) don't have much room to run and play. So they hire dog walkers called pasadores to walk their dogs during the work day. Some pasadores walk up to 20 dogs at once--and they all get along just fine!
One day my parents took a ferry across the bay from Buenos Aires to Uruguay.
The ferry boat did not allow dogs :-(

Wow - your parents must have had a neat vacation. I wonder why they didn't take you - obviously there would have been dogs for you to play with. Or at least walk with!
Yeah for Cario! Her parents are back. We missed your blogging. Those are nice pictures of doggies but they aren't as pretty as you.

Welcome back home Cairo. I can't wait to hear about your trip to your grandparent's house.
Welcome back Cairo!!! You have been so missed! Loved the pictures of the dogs in South America. Ask your mom and dad if they spoke with accents!

Heya Cairo -
snif snif snif - huh, weird. snif snif snif. Really?. Snif snif. Ah, I see. At any rate, Its good to see you around!
And what's the deal - is it me - or does that 'no animals' sign look a little too much like a 'no boxers' sign? I'd be tempted to let the ferry company know their sign might come across as a little breedist. Know what I mean?
Neat! My mom was in Colombia, South America in June. She saw a Husky almost every day. Most people in the capital city of Bogota also live in apartments, so doggie day care and dog walkers are becoming more and more common.
Felipe is very cute!
Glad to have you home safe and sound! Cool pictures - nice to see all those happy dogs. You know - I do the exact same thing. I always take pictures of the critters.
Guess what? We added three new baby kitties to the family while you were away. And they blog too - just like Cairo! So stop by and say howdy of you're of a mind. The blog is The Catnip Chronicles - starring Kilmouski, Pumpkin and Inky Dinky Do. Everybody stop on by - the more the merrier!
It's great when the parents come home. Did you spin? I spin every night when mom gets home. I missed you, Cairo!
Hi Cairo,
