When my parents leave for work in the morning they always put a gate in front of our stairway. I stay downstairs and have a doggie door to enter the backyard. The upstairs of the house is off limits while I'm home alone. My parents don't trust me to be alone up there.
Today, when Mommy left the house she forgot to put the gate in front of the stairway. I had free reign throughout the entire house all day! When she returned home Mommy said it looked like some bachelors threw a wild party in our house. There were shoes, shirts and bras spread throughout different rooms of the house.
I obviously had a fantastic time! I jumped on my parents' bed and tore all the blankets to the ground. I thought about eating Daddy's soccer magazines but instead chewed up one of his shoes really good (he said he would have been really mad if I ate the magazines).
They aren't mad at me because they know it's their fault.

You are so funny. We love bras. They are the best for tug-of-war and they are stretchy so they fling really good. Good job resisting the magazines. Make sure to do your best sad eyes when dad sees his shoes.

Your parents are so smart not to blame you. Too many people get mad at their dogs for simply being a dog and doing doggy stuff. And when you think about it, we dogs compromise lots and lots to fit into their human lifestyle, even overcoming many of our inborn doggy traits and characterisitics. The least they can do is accept responsibility for their goof-ups.

(who is usually good, but is still a dog!)
Wow - PAAARTY .... we'll all come over next time ... just learn to use the telephone!
YEah! Next time call the gang - since, you know, it will be your parents own fault for leaving the phone plugged in.
It's been a long time since my last poker night!
:P
That's what they get for going on vacation and leaving you for so long. ;)
How fun! Our mom doesn't trust us to have run of the house either. We hope she forgets to put us in the pen one day so we can do all the stuff you did! You are a great role model!
Your mom and dad are right to not blame you for doing what they knew you would do. You are lucky to have such good humans.

We can't go upstairs when the mommies are gone either. I was looking for some pictures! No pictures of destruction, Cairo? Great work - bachelor party!
Hey Cairo,
I am impressed by your efforts of restraint in not eating your dad's soccer mags - you should get a treat for that :-)
Way to go on the rest of the destruction :-)
Love

Heee hee hee Cairo,
sounds like you had a great time.
Shoes. Yum. I'd love to be small enough to sit inside one. Ahem.
But eating one is good enough.
Chow for now,
Tin Tin xo
Wow, it's like you got to spend the whole day at an amusement park! You're lucky they really missed you while they were gone. Did they bring you any Argentinian souvenirs?

You have your humans very well trained that they believe that everything is their fault... Go Cairo!

Some mistakes only need to be made once. I think this is one of them. Mom and dad won't make this one again.
LOL I have made similar mistakes, but only once.
You're better than naughty Allie - she ran away three days in a row and went to the pound yesterday. Today she got to stay at the Vets office. Seperation anxiety = antidepressants or "calming" pills. ARG!
