Sacred Cow

Back from outer space, Cairo chills on the sofa with her moo cow:

Cairo loves her moo cow because it has a voice box that really "moos". One squeeze of the cow's belly and it will moo for about ten seconds. Sure, it gets annoying after awhile. But we know Cairo is having fun...

I'd like to thank my readers for all your support over the weekend. Cairo got many votes at the Daily Puppy and her Boxer Rebellion is off to a good start. General J.C. Christian even got in on the action and lent his support to Cairo.

If you just discovered Cairo's Place for the first time, then welcome! If you received a comment on your blog from Cairo, well, that was Cairo's Mom who is trying to spread the Boxer Rebellion throughout the entire blogosphere.

The two dogs we have now eviscerate all soft toys; so if we want to avoid trips to the vet, its rope toys and chews only, I'm afraid. Our last two boxers - Spud and Sandy - loved their toys animals. There was this frog that also had a voice box. Spud would whack at that thing for hours - he loved making it croak! Cairo looks so sweet with her cow!

Xena ( our cat who thinks she is a dog) and Lily ( our little blond Basenji , who thinks she is a cat) would love to have a mooooo cow...Lilly spends her days hiding her stuffed buddies from Xena, and then she naps and Xena drags them away under the day bed..Lilly wakes up and pesters her mom , never ever thinking that Xena would do such a thing...and the Rubber Bush head gets bashed around the apartment by both of them....

I love my screaming monkey, but my sister, Dakota, eats stuffed animals (along with toilet paper, lettuce leaves, tomatoes, my dog food, and everything else she gets her lips on). I only get to play with the monkey when my mom is supervising. Darn those labs. Boxers rule! Hi Cairo!

I wish my dogs would let the squeaker remain in the stuffed toy. Each time they get a stuffed toy, the first thing the dogs do is rip the squeaker out of the toy. Then they begin destroying said toy until all there is left is fluff covering the carpet for me to clean up. My boyfriend insists "NO MORE TOYS!!!"

You make me desperatly want to go out and get a doggie, but my husband is allergic. Pooh! I tried to take "him" to the pound but for some reason they wont take him (he has his shots). I love your pictures Cairo and think your a very lucky doggie to have such good parents, and now your famous online. :0) WTG Cairo

Aah Cairo, how sweet is your moo cow? My Thunder has a little lamb that he drags about his cage, his bed, and also uses as a cushion too. It doesn't make any noises though like yours :)

What a cute dog! We had a Boxer but had to put him down last year. He was 11 years old and very sick. They are some fantastic dogs!
