(CBS) Contaminated dog food remains a source of concern, despite a recall late last month. Dog and cat food, sold under the brand names "Diamond," "Country Value" and "Professional," was pulled from store shelves by Diamond Pet Foods, but is blamed in the deaths of at least 76 dogs nationwide.

Diamond says it contained a dangerous fungus byproduct. The naturally-occurring chemical, which is found on corn, can cause serious liver damage in animals.

Recalls always piss me off, the reason being is that they do them way after the fact...they know they have tainted product out there but and know it will be consumed mostly before the word gets out...

Most things are naturally occuring...Bastards...
