Summertime

And the living is easy...

That's me at the Huntington Dog Beach last summer. I hope we go back this summer. I was still a puppy back then, and was a bit afraid of the waves. But now I'm a teenage Boxer and brave enough to face the surf.

What are your favorite summer activities?

Wow, a whole dog beach - how cool is that ! Charlie would love it - but I would just sit on the sand and watch, I don't like the water too much, I am afraid I might shrink :-)

Dakota wants to swim. I prefer sleeping in the air conditioning with both mommies nearby.

Eating! Oh, that isn't limited to summer.
Sunbathing ... so we can be hot dogs! (In the winter we are chilly [chili] dogs.)

Our favorite summer activity is chasing cats. It's new this year due to stupid neighbors.

Isabella is going to have a fit when she realizes that you have a dog beach! She'd love one. What a great way to cool off and have fun.

Wow! You are so lucky to get to go to the beach. We are only few miles from the beach but I don't get to go- no dogs allowed! Mean humans and their laws. There is a beach on the causeway for dogs, but all the drunks and partiers go there and leave broken bottles and fish hooks all over. So my humans won't take me there.

Cairo,

I love the beach only mine isn't on the ocean, it's on the Clark Fork river. I like to swim a little, but only up to my chest because otherwise I might float downstream (the water moves really fast).

Nubby wiggles,
Ellie

Cool, a doggie beach! I've never seen one of those, wish we had one here in NC. All I get to do is go ridin' in the mustang with the top down and my doggles on. Not much of a vacation, but it's still fun! We get all kinds of funny looks... they act like they've never seen a dog wearing goggles before! *giggle*
