This weekend I got a long deserved bath. I hadn't had one since before the wildfires. Daddy said I was very dirty - probably all that ash from the fires was caked in my coat. Now I'm nice and shiny. Here I am on my parents' bed after my bath...
Here I am giving my Daddy a kiss to thank him for my wonderful bath.

She is gorgeous! Such a pretty girl. Is she good in her bath? Neither of mine like it - and Ginger behaves as if she's facing a firing squad. Needless to say, baths are a bit infrequent around our house!

You look like the bath wore you out ... or are you like me and have to chase the evil towel when you're done? That always wears me out.
Oh my dear friend Cairo! You have been through so much where you live. I hope this next year will be peaceful for you and your famble. I hope you do not think me too ungracious of a kitty for taking such a long time to return your visit. You can only imagine how happy I was to see you come cheer me on while I was so very sick. Mommy was heartbroken and thought for sure I would not regain any of my spirit and was prepared for the worst. But I was worth a small miracle. With your purrrayers and some good medicine, I have regained my strength day by day. Mommy would not have made it through her worries about me without your comfort. Each night we keep you in our prayers and wish you endless Blessings this Thanksgiving season.

Cairo, we are glad you are okay from all of the fires. Mom says she remembers dealing with having ash everywhere when she lived in CA during the fires. You look lovely after your bath. We usually look lovely too but we hate to take baths. Mom is mean and makes us do it anyway!

cairo!! what a coincidence?!? my mommy and daddy gave me my first bath this weekend! mommy kept loving on me b/c i was so good and just stood there - little did they know i stood there b/c it felt good to be scrubbed down!
